Camesborough (/camesborough / [Translation Unavailable]) is a subtropical Town located in the Doûvnḱínts̄r Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Camesborough is derived from the Sylvin language, as Camesborough was founded by Dozzurk Cÿbackhugehdew Edmunds, who was culturaly Sylvin.

Climate

Camesborough has a yearly average temperature of 20°C (68°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 26°C (78°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 14°C (57°F). Camesborough receives an average of 269 cm/y (105 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Camesborough covers an area of nearly 5 km² (2 mi²), and an average elevation of 250 m (820 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Camesborough was founded durring the early 16th century in summer of the year 1535, by Dozzurk Cÿbackhugehdew Edmunds. The establishment of Camesborough was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Camesborough 's construction back out of the project. Dozzurk Cÿbackhugehdew Edmunds pushed on reguardles, and Camesborough was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Camesborough was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Camesborough is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Camesborough is is constructed arround a series of narrow paverstone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The town has a defencive wall made from querried stone. The wall is equipped with a full set of battlments but the nature of its construction methodology leaves it somewhat vulnerable to siege equipment. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

The town shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Civic Infrastructure

Camesborough has an animal control department which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the control, impoundment, and disposition of animals.

Camesborough has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Camesborough . They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Camesborough 's parks.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Camesborough 's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Camesborough 's town hall was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is which made use of the classical orders and mathematically precise ratios of height and width combined with a desire for symmetry, proportion, and harmony. It used columns, pediments, arches and domes are imaginatively in buildings of all types. Decorative features were seen as largely unnecessary as the sheer beauty of the structure itself was often close to art. However, many buildings with large ceiling spaces had their ceilings decorated with elaborate paintings, simply because the large flat spaces could feel wasted.
